Ratan Tata, the chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on 9th October 2024. His death shocked the entire country as N. Chandrasekaran, chairman of Tata Sons, confirmed the news in an official statement.

Based on initial reports, Ratan Tata was admitted to the hospital due to a sudden drop in blood pressure. However, he had previously addressed these claims, stating that his hospital visit was due to age-related health issues and that he was doing well. 

He also took to X to urge the media and the public to avoid spreading misinformation regarding his health. He shared the post after being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital. Unfortunately, the Titan succumbed to his health-related illness on 9th October.

As of now, the actual cause of his death is not confirmed. However, experts suggest that low blood pressure and old age contributed to his demise.
